Wallace Music Fest Returns July 10-11 With Two Stages, Free Admission

The Wallace Music Festival will take over downtown Wallace next week, bringing two days of live music across multiple genres to the Silver Valley community. The free event is scheduled for July 10-11 and marks the third consecutive year of the festival, which grew from the cancellation of the longtime Wallace Blues Festival in 2024.

The festival will operate two stages—a main stage and a dedicated blues-style stage—allowing simultaneous performances throughout the two-day run. Snacks at Midnight will headline Friday night, while Sammy Eubanks takes the main stage Saturday.

The weekend lineup includes Joel Astley, Justyn Priest, Young Cardinals, Alison Joy Williams, Jim Tilden Brown, Rusty Jackson, Ban Larson, and Curtis Roy Moore across both venues. Young Cardinals, a North Carolina-based group led by James Forgey, will perform Saturday night on the blues stage. The band includes two Wallace natives—Sam Branstetter and Marcus Matile—bringing local talent back to the community.

Marcy Hayman, involved in organizing the event, expressed confidence in the upcoming festival. “I think it’s going to be a fun one. We have some pretty good bands, coming from some distance, that will be here,” Hayman said. “We’re pretty stoked to have our local boys in action.”

The Wallace Music Festival emerged following the 2024 cancellation of the Wallace Blues Festival, which organizers attributed to planning errors. The community-driven event has since developed into a broader music celebration, drawing performers from across the region and beyond.

The festival is funded through a combination of sponsors, donors, volunteers, and community support. Organizers are actively seeking vendors for the event and encourage interested participants to inquire for available opportunities.

Admission to the festival is free. Complete details, including vendor information and the full performance schedule, are available at www.wallacemusicfest.com.
